Special P&T meeting 11 October 2011, Brussels

As there was no official full scale FEFPEB congress in 2011, FEFPEB has organized a special Policy & Technical Committee meeting, open to all individual member companies. An interesting and relevant session was arranged, with attention for ISPM 15, the launch of the FEFPEB PR campaign, and elaboration on the FEFPEB strategy and activities for 2011/2012, and a look forward to the FEFPEB congress of 2012 in Valencia, Spain.

The program was as follows:

a. ISPM 15
- Plant Health issues: the political angle, by Roman Vágner (DG Sanco)
- Scientific state of affairs, by Roddie Burgess (formally UK Forestry Commission)
- Dielectric Heating practical application technical details and cost and economic aspects, by Nicola Diaferia, EMitech Srl (Italy)

b. FEFPEB PR campaign
The launch of the European PR campaign by Dominic Weaver of RED Communications Ltd. (UK)

c. FEFPEB strategy and activities 2011 / 2012
