CEI-Bois position on renewable energy sources and biomass |

During the past few meetings, the CEI-Bois Board members have discussed the issue of renewable energy sources and biomass and its implications for the European woodworking sector, and the need for CEI-Bois of updating its basic position dating from several years back already. FEFPEB has contributed to this discussion in an important way.
These discussions have led to the attached CEI-Bois position under the title: “Renewable energy sources and biomass - A threat or an opportunity to the woodworking industries?” The FEFPEB policy and strategy are reflected in this position statement.
This position will serve as the basis for any positions or statements from CEI-Bois on this important policy issue.
